Why do you like to use kettlebells so much?

Kettlebells allow you to get a great workout with little equipment. You can train for cardiovascular health, strength, build muscle and lose fat all with a couple kettlebells. Their unique shape and functionality also allow them to increase mobility and range of motion while strengthening joints in those ranges of motion.

What weight kettlebells do you recommend someone have?

Ideally the number would be 3-5 kettlebells. With 3 kettlebells I would have 1 light, 1 moderate, 1 heavy. When collecting I would go from lightest first and buy progressively heavier bells.

Where is the best place to purchase kettlebells?

Facebook Marketplace or any other second-hand sellers of this nature is by far the best place to find good deals on kettlebells and workout equipment in general. The best prices I’ve found for Power Coated Kettlebells is Rogue. The best prices I’ve found for Competition Style Kettlebells is Titan.

How many days a week do you recommend training?

Most people will get the best results training 3-4 days a week depending on your goals. Days off of lifting are for walking and mobility work. Ideally you are doing something daily to move your body and build good habits. However, anything is almost always better than nothing!

How does the app based training work when sessions are not in-person?

I use the Trainerize app to upload form and instructional videos. The workout will be programmed for you including any warm up, activation exercises, and cool down work. All movements I ask you to do will have a video attached in the app that play as you preform the workout. The app works with your music as well so you can continue to enjoy your music as the video plays in the background. You can log all weights used and repetitions in the app for future references.

What are the workouts like?

Personalized programming will completely revolve around your goals, your available equipment, and your preferences. Pre-made programs are centered around compound lifts or heavy kettlebell movements based on the plan of your choosing! All plans will have aspects of endurance, strength, and functional movements.
